Fees and charges
Below is the full outline of fees and charges for both businesses and freelance consultants. All fees and charges stated below are in Australian Dollars and include GST.
Freelance consultant
There are simply two charges for freelance consultants. First an annual membership fee and second a success fee for every job or project won.
- The annual membership fee of $49.95 is paid by all consultants at time of registration and is then renewed upon the anniversary each subsequent year.
- For every successful project or job secured through Consulting WorX a success fee is paid by the consultant upon the project being awarded. The success fee is calculated by the job value based on the following schedule below.
- If the job awarded is a continuous project or the value is unknown, the fee will then be calculated on an estimate of the first 12month project value

Business
When posting a new project a business can chose to use one of three options. Two are self service options and are a free service to the business, the third is the Consulting WorX Matching Service.
- The Consulting WorX Matching Service is when a business posts a new project and has Consulting WorX match it to a specified number of freelance consultants based on the businesses set of criteria. The cost for the Consulting WorX Matching Service is $99.00.
- For all new job postings, once a freelance consultant is selected by a business all fee negotiations for the work to be completed is solely between the business and the freelancer.
Refunds
The full refund policy is outlined in the fees and payments section of the terms and conditions that are accepted at time of registration for both business users and consultants.
- The annual membership fee paid by freelance consultants at the time of registration is refundable up to a period of 30days. After 30days the fee is non-refundable.
- The success fee is payable within 7days of an invoice being raised. The success fee is non-refundable unless the freelance consultant is terminated from a job within the first 14days and at that time any refund is at the descretion of Consulting WorX.
- The Consulting WorX Matching Service fee paid by businesses is refundable up to a period of 30days and allows for two notifications to be sent. After 30days the fee is non-refundable.
