What is Consulting WorX?

Consulting WorX is a unique service that facilitates the introduction of businesses and consultants for a specific job request.

Consultants can post their profile on the website, search the job notice board and email businesses on new opportunities depending on their family commitments and availability.  

How do I use Consulting WorX?

As a consultant the first step is to register. Consultants pay an annual membership fee upon registration and once registered, it is simply a matter of regularly reviewing the notice board to look for new jobs. At all times be ready to respond to any contact that is made by Consulting WorX or a business on a new job, even if it is to decline the opportunity because Consulting WorX prides itself on standards of excellence.

Just remember the more detail and accuracy you add to your profile the more likely you are to be found and ultimately to earn a fee.  

Why use Consulting WorX?

Consulting WorX is a smart way to promote you and your skills to prospective customers as well as saving time and money when looking to broaden your network.

You are in control of the time you contact others, you can search the site anytime during the day or night according to your schedule; you can also set search criteria to specifically match your ideal job criteria.

Consulting WorX is a privately held Australian company and offers local customer service by phone and email.

How much does it cost to use Consulting WorX?

For consultants there is an annual membership fee which is paid at time of registering. 

If selected for a new job there is also a success fee to be paid to Consulting WorX Pty Ltd calculated on the total job value at the time of being selected for the job. For a full breakdown of our fees & charges click here

What information do I have to provide to Consulting WorX?

When registering you need to provide basic contact information and contact preferences as well as selecting the category that you wish to promote your skill set under, a summary of your experience and qualifications and your ability to work outside of your home.

Does Consulting WorX complete any reference checks on me?

No. Consulting WorX is a facilitator only in providing the website to showcase jobs and match consultants to available jobs. Consulting WorX does not validate any representations made of experience or qualifications. Please note it is a breach of the terms and conditions to provide false or inaccurate information and will result in immediate suspension of your membership.

Can I update my details online?

Yes. You can update your details at anytime once logged into the secure area of the Consulting WorX site.

  

JOB NOTICEBOARD

  

What are the job categories you offer?

How do I apply for a new job listed?

When posting a new job businesses have the three options of how they wish the job to be posted:

1. Self Service Open Tender

This is where the job is posted to the noticeboard and consultants can view details and apply directly to the business contact.

2. Self Service Consultant Directory

Under this option the job is posted to the noticeboard but is closed off for applications.  Instead the business user searches consultant’s profiles and contacts them directly inviting their interest.

3. Consulting WorX Matching Service

This option is chargeable for the business and is where Consulting WorX matches suitable consultants to the job based on specific criteria as provided by the business. 

Can I view details on the job?

Yes. Once logged in to the secure area of the website, you can search for jobs based on certain criteria. You can then view full details on each particular job listed and apply for a job by clicking on the link provided.

Does Consulting WorX provide a recommendation on a particular consultant?

No. Consulting WorX does not recommend or endorse any consultant.

Am I competing against other consultants for a job?

Yes you probably will be so make sure you are prompt and efficient in your dealings with the business customer and sell yourself and the best consultant for the job.

What are the expected response times?

It is expected that a consultant will reply to any invitation to apply for a job within 24 hours. Remember you will probably be competing against other consultants and you don’t want to miss out because you were late in replying.

Can a business request a preferred consultant in future?

Yes. The best way of doing this is for the business to select (Option 2) Consultant Directory Listing when posting a new job and then contact the consultant directly via their profile page inviting their interest.

Please be aware of the Restraint of Trade clause as outlined in the Consulting WorX terms and conditions. It is a breach to employ or retain a consultant directly within a period of 6 months from the date of completion of a Job Request without the intervention of Consulting WorX. If you do offer work to a consultant within the 6 month period and the consultant accepts the work, the business will immediately become liable to Consulting WorX for an introduction fee of $1000.00.

If I have a problem with a business what can I do?

Consulting WorX is a facilitator only and is independent of all transactions that may occur between you and a business. It is recommended that you execute a contract setting out the scope of work, including the role, responsibilities, performance criteria, milestones, timeframe and payment you require from the business so that there is no misunderstanding. However Consulting WorX Pty Ltd prides itself on standards of excellence and is happy to assist in a dispute resolution should it arise.

  

FEEDBACK AND HELP

  

If I have a problem with applying for a new job what can I do?

There is a help section on the website providing links and contact details for Consulting WorX Pty Ltd. At anytime you may email Consulting WorX at info@consultingworx.com.au

Can I see feedback on the businesses from previous jobs?

Yes. You may send a request to info@consultingworx.com.au for any previous feedback provided on a business from other consultants. The feedback is limited to their overall engagement and any general comments.

How do I provide feedback on the Consulting WorX service or on a business customer?

Once a consultant is selected and the job is closed, both the business and the consultant will be sent an email with a link in it directing them to a feedback form on the Consulting WorX website requesting feedback on each other once the job is completed. This feedback is not confidential and is optional for either party to complete.

How do I find out my login details if I forget them?

Your login name is your email address. If you forget your password you can reset this but clicking on the ‘Forgot my Password’ link on the login page. This will allow you to reset your password.

Consulting WorX employees cannot look up what your stored password is.

Can I change my login details?

Yes. You can change your email and password through the ‘Manage my profile’ page once logged in to the secure area of the Consulting WorX site.
