Consulting WorX general media release
Media Release Date: 1 September 2009
In today’s fragile workplace there are many people out of work, many people looking for work and especially looking for flexible work options to balance family and work life.
As we see roles being made “redundant” there are still fundamental tasks or jobs that need to get done so we are looking to fill the gap. If you can’t afford the full time head count maybe you could utilise consultant’s skills?
Consulting WorX is an online business designed to assist with the introduction of businesses and consultants. We are looking at all key areas across the business, HR, marketing, sales, accounting, IT and more.
The overall Business Strategy is to provide people with flexibility and choice around their work options and have the ability to combine work and family commitments at their discretion. We also aim to play an active role in helping to grow the Australian economy through the creation of paid work options for stay at home carers.
How it works
A Business simply posts a new service request online and chooses either one of the Self Service options or to have Consulting WorX match it to identify the most suitable Consultants based on the number of responses requested, notify them, and arrange for them to call the Business directly.
Businesses and Consultants engage with Consulting Worx through a website where new service requests are posted and Consultant profiles are displayed. Consultants are notified of new service requests based on a best-fit criteria, and once accepted the engagement is then directly between the Consultant and Business.
The Self Service options are free for the Business to utilise or they can select the Consulting WorX matching service for a nominal fee. All of the options provide Businesses with the ability to post an unlimited number of new service requests. Consultants pay an annual membership free and for each new service request won a success fee.
It is important to note that Consulting WorX is not a recruitment agency.
